Abalone Cove Reserve is a perfect place to end your weekend. It’s a great spot to watch the sunset, as the trail is well marked, easy to walk on, and accessible from most points in West LA. The only issue you may run into is that the parking lot closes at 4PM. We found parking on the street a little before you reach the parking lot. There is also a small upper lot that holds about 5 or 6 cars.

Points of interest include Abalone Cove Beach, Sacred Cove, and Inspiration Point. We wandered around more or less aimlessly to enjoy the sunset and came back to the parking lot area.
