Trailhead to Arethusa Falls in Crawford Notch State Park, New Hampshire

What: Arethusa Falls is a beautiful 2.6 mile round trip hike in the fall. The first parts of the trail had nice fall foliage, and then it led up to the famous falls. There’s some debate as to the highest waterfall in New England. I don’t think Arethusa Falls is it, but it’s beautiful nonetheless!

Who: I had a nice hike with Sloan Women in Management’s Breaking the Mold team. It was a nice bonding experience and I enjoyed escaping the corridors of MIT for a day!

Directions: Arethusa Falls is located in Crawford Notch. To get there from Boston, take I-93N up to the White Mountain region, and then go on 302E. The Arethusa Falls turnoff is on your right, 6 miles after the AMC Crawford Depot. Google maps here.
